4-4 Water--- Wants To Know How You Feel Now? (Must See Video)

Make no mistake, it gives me great pleasure to help get behind Lerion ( 4-4 Water) Walker and doing my part to help assist this brother with the promotion of his new forthcoming album #NOSleepCampaign 2.0.

 I've done this for many artist and also Dj's from the City of Anderson (da A.N.D.) for many years now. I ask for no reward, recognition or special favors from none.  Most folks that know of me, know my track record and organically respect me for my work. Its not really work when one loves what they do. First things first though, I've known 4-4 Water for years and I'm not the bandwagon jumping type. So for you naysayers who would  suggest differently, you had best check my resume' and I will check yours to see your body of work, when supporting other than yourself.

It frustrates me in a sense when hard working artist from the A.N.D. like 4-4 have been grinding for years, producing quality lyrical content, mixtapes, solid musical production and his own hometown is still slow to support him.  In fact, he was featured on one of my classic "A.N.D.'s Greatest Misses" mixes available on my podcast djtuc999TheMobileApp MixShow just click here.


 Is it because a lot of his content has creative meaning, because his word-play is deemed to intelligent for the streets, not dumbed down enuff for contemporary rap audiences of today? What!What!What is it? In my opinion this is precisely what turns many would be consumers, potential new listeners away because of 75 percent of the crap that is pushed on radio, that is passed for good music. Pop music does not always equate to good talent.  I'm old skool and it doesn't matter to us types how many times you force play a garbage song in an hour on radio, it won't make us say that artist has real talent. But it will make us say they have  great marketing. Sponsors with unlimited cash, will not make an artist dope but it will get his or her music heard over others who may have more talent in their pinky finger than they have in their whole body. Unbeknownst to most millennials, it was us Dj's who were responsible for breaking local artist first and radio had to follow us. NOW WE FOLLOW RADIO!! We had the power not the program director. Times have definitely change & not for the better in my outspoken opinion.

 4-4 Water and many others like him are the rose that grows through the concrete, the black coal that endured the pressure that is now transforming into the diamond with that illustrious shine. The one that is now beginning to sparkle, shimmer and attract the eyes of those who clamor for  a different sound and message originating from A.N.D. S.C.. After watching the video, you will see his message speaks for itself.  4-4 I was down with you during your South Drama days and I still support you now bro.
